Copyright ©2025 Dow Jones & Company, Inc. The more important question is: Does this split signal something fundamentally awry in the MAGA coalition? What does the quick disillusionment of the Republican Party’s most prominent convert mean for the president and the party’s wider fortunes? On the face of it, not much. For one thing, the rupture seems mainly personal. In some respects the MAGA movement is a personality cult. Mr. Musk wasn’t that personality.

The president’s populism isn’t entirely popular among business leaders. The alliance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk was always likely to be about as durable as the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, the 1939 deal Nazi Germany struck with the Soviet Union days before invading Poland. I won’t extend the analogy too far for obvious reasons of taste, except to say that deals rarely last when they are made for short-term advantage between two parties with outsize ambitions but divergent characters.

I’m puzzled by this line of reasoning. Caught early, prostate cancer can be treated and cured. Are we saying that Biden knew he had it at an early stage years ago, chose not to treat it to avoid disclosure and thereby exposed himself to the greater risk that it could kill him?

Urologist Dr. Shusterman says it’s “unheard of” for someone with Biden’s level of care to not know he had prostate cancer 5–10 years ago. It was a full-on coverup: “It's very unlikely that someone could get annual checkups and not notice.” “He is a former president, had https://t.co/L7tSGp9fPg

Exactly. It’s well known that Cleveland used the statue extensively for his own personal comfort and convenience and then took possession of it personally after he left office.

I can't wait for the press to find out about France's so-called "gift" of the Statue of Liberty, accepted in 1886 by then-President Grover Cleveland.
