I have been going to Salone del Mobile in Milan for many years. In 2025, I loved the Buccellati installation of their Naturalia collection where they presented ‘furry’ animals (in brushed silver) of different sizes. Some, life size, were placed in natural habitats built for the occasion with real moss, ferns and shells. It showed the Italian craftsmanship of jewellery-making at its best.

Tucked between two taller buildings in the residential area of Jaipur known as Civil Lines, the house belonging to the French/Tunisian artist and designer Thierry Journo is clearly a retreat from the buzzy streets of Rajasthan’s capital. Until 23 June, a converted mirror workshop will play host to Frutti di Mare, the first solo exhibition of F.

And of course my @British_Airways flight will be late. And it’s only 7AM… #ShameOnYou

But @British_Airways likes to spend money on a new sound system in the First check-in area and fake planters and more cheap amenities. What for? Whoever makes these decisions, really should look at the airlines great competitors and see how they do it. Simpler is chicer.
