Introduction Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is an established therapy for elderly patients with severe symptomatic aortic valve stenosis (AS), irrespective of surgical risk123. The burden of coronary artery disease (CAD) is significant in patients with severe AS and may impact both the procedural risk as well as the post-procedural prognosis of the patient.
