Scottish law firm Gilson Gray has acquired City of London-based PCM Solicitors, a specialist in family and property law. Founded by senior partner Paul Critchley in September 2009, its team will transfer to the new owner with Mr Critchley taking up a role in the firm’s property offering. The search has begun for a head of operations in London. PCM Solicitors becomes the third acquisition of 2024 and represents Gilson Gray’s first step into London and the south east.

Gilson Gray Financial Management (GGFM) has promoted Emma Bradbury to chief operating officer (COO). Ms Bradbury (pictured) has held several roles with the firm, supporting its expansion. As COO, she will drive the next chapter of GGFM’s growth, taking over from Steve Herkes who retires as managing director.

Full-service legal firm Gilson Gray has named a new head of its corporate division, with Findlay Anderson promoted to the role to lead the team’s growth in 2024. Findlay joined Gilson Gray in May 2023 as a partner, bringing two decades of experience in senior leadership roles across a range of multinational corporates including Baker Hughes and GE Oil and Gas, as well as previously being a partner at McGrigors.
