After a couple hours of discussion, some confusion cleared and compromises made, Hardin County magistrates reached an agreement concerning the proposed 2025-26 budget. With the meeting room filled to capacity as several EMS and 911 employees and their families filled the room, magistrates eventually came to a consensus to grant Judge-Executive Keith Taul’s initial ask of a step-in-grade increase and a 1% cost of living adjustment for all county employees.
