Over the weekend of April 5-6, Cherry Hill Mall implemented a new parental supervision policy that mall officials said would address teens fighting and police being called to the mall. The policy, outlined on the mall's website, states that mall security will begin monitoring people entering the mall beginning at 4 p.m. on Saturdays. Youth not accompanied by an adult parent or guardian older than 21 will be asked to leave. Or they will be asked to return with an adult.

The Philadelphia Zoo has announced the successful hatching of four critically endangered Western Santa Cruz Galapagos tortoises. This event marks the first time in the zoo's more than 150-year history that this hatching has occurred.
