Laminar Research released the third beta build for the major update 12.2.0 coming to its flight simulator X-Plane 12. Among other things, the beta aims to fix oversaturation and undersaturation by reducing the color compression of reds and yellows, alongside more changes to lighting. Some crashes caused by ATC have been fixed as well, and balloons received some tweaks. You can find the full update notes from the official site below.

Today, Microsoft and Asobo Studio released a new build of the beta of Sim Update 2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The build is numbered 1.4.14.0, and improves stability by fixing crash issues, and interestingly also tweaks the rolling cache usage, which should help with using your allocated storage space better and reducing downloads. You can read the full patch notes below, which this time around are pretty brief.

The map portrays a large part of West Germany and East Germany, and bits of Poland, Czechoslovakia, the Netherlands, and the Baltic Sea, centering on the iconic Fulda Gap. It measures 980ร800 kmย and portrays several relevant cities like Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Magdeburg, Leipzig, Hannover, Lรผbeck, and more.
