The death has occurred, peacefully, at the home he shared with his wife, Marsha Barnett, in Evanston, Illinois, of John Leonard McKnight on 2nd November, 2024. John will be missed by the thousands who followed in his footsteps in pursuit of the Holy Grail of Asset Based Community Development, building on the foundations laid at Northwestern University, in Evanston, by Saul Alinsky and in partnership with Jodie Kretzmann.

Five personality profiles were identified (BIC = 6513.5; AIC = 6051.4). Although the six- and seven-profile solutions had better goodness-of-fit indices (6 classes: BIC = 6493.4, AIC = 5953.0; 7 classes: BIC = 6485.2, AIC = 5866.5) than the five-profile solution, the five-profile solution was chosen because of small improvements in fit indices, relatively high classification certainty (ranging from 0.85 to 0.91), and meaningfulness of the profiles.

OverviewThis study aims to test if the VR games could be a form of upper limb rehabilitation for
people with arm/hand problems due to SCI while they are in hospital. Participants who have
had a spinal cord injury and have tetraplegia will be recruited from the Queen Elizabeth
National Spinal Injuries Unit. After they have provided informed consent, they will receive
12 weeks of either standard upper limb therapy ('control group'), or both the VR activities
and standard treatment ('VR Group').

The ED program will serve as an attention control group to reduce for unknown and known confounding factors such as the effects of attention and social interactions on health outcomes. Social interactions have known gender differences, with women benefitting from social engagement more than men [14].
