What influenced your decision to study English, and how did your academic background shape your career path? I think early on in life, I knew what I wanted. I had not been part of the bandwagon who wanted to become lawyers or doctors. At first, I wanted to study Economics, but when it was time to write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, I chose English. I loved the idea and decided to pursue it. At university, I was devoted to the course.
