The legal fraternity of Quetta and families rejoiced after two lawyers, Advocate Fida Dashti and Advocate Salaudin Mengal, returned after having gone last week. The two lawyers had been reported as missing at midnight on September 12. The disappearance of the two advocates had sent shock waves through Quetta's legal community, with many expressing fears for their safety.

The temperature in Quetta is low – it is bitterly cold outside, almost 6 degrees – but the 84 year old man is sitting in the camp along with the families of missing persons. “Whenever I come here to sit at the camp, I see the faces of all these missing persons and I just sit there and look at their faces in silence,” he says.
