To investigate whether the data obtained in our preclinical rodent model were reproducible in a clinical setting, we recruited a homogenous cohort of patients with CML (n = 14) in deep molecular response on chronic treatment with dasatinib (median, 5.3 years) in order to measure their spleens by ultrasound, before and after medication.
