BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 54-year-old endangered Boynton Beach man. The Boynton Beach Police Department (BBPD) said James Tomko, 54, was last seen at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday, near Oasis at Boynton Beach Assisted Living on NE 4th Street. According to BBPD, James is 5'7" and approximately 240 pounds with light eyes and long salt and pepper hair.

JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — A 1-year-old was saved by quick-thinking officers after nearly drowning in a Jupiter pool. At 4:39 p.m. on Sunday, Jupiter Police Officers arrived on the scene for a call that a baby was found unconscious in a pool, according to the Jupiter Police Department (JPD). Jupiter Police Department (JPD) Officers Riley Schneider and Jheri-Lynn Palmeri reportedly initiated CPR until Palm Beach County Fire Rescue personnel arrived and took over medical care.

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS12) — An Orlando man has one million reasons to celebrate. The Florida Lottery announced Monday that 61-year-old Johnnie Pleicones Jr. of Orlando secured the $1 million prize from Florida 300X The Cash scratch-off game. Pleicones reportedly chose to collect his winnings in one lump-sum payment of $695,500. Lottery officials say Pleicones purchased the ticket from ITIG Quick Mart at 7105 S. Orange Avenue in Orlando.

MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — A former South Florida doctor was found guilty of illegally distributing over two million doses of opioids at his pain management clinic. According to a Thursday news release, A federal jury found 72-year-old Daniel Alberto Carpman of Miami guilty of distributing oxycodone at his clinic, Daniel Carpman MD Medical Center, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
