1 INTRODUCTION Following its initial outbreak in 2019, the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic spread rapidly, triggering the implementation of prolonged lockdowns, travel restrictions, and the closure of businesses, schools, and public services. This has raised concerns over adverse mental health consequences, including increased rates of anxiety and depression (Zavlis et al., 2022), suicidal ideation, post-traumatic stress symptoms, and insomnia (Chen et al., 2021).

Despite this, there is scant evidence investigating the existing levels of knowledge and skills of specialties within multidisciplinary mental health teams.
