ABSTRACTThis literature review explores the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in mediating the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren, particularly in Asian contexts. Using a systematic search strategy, we examined studies published between 2014 and 2024 from three major databases. Keywords such as ‘elderly’, ‘grandparents’, ‘grandchildren’, ‘technology’, ‘ICT’, and ‘Asia’ were used, 16 articles were shortlisted.
