Japanese automaker Mitsubishi Motors has entered into talks with Taiwanese electronics contract manufacturer Foxconn to discuss the development of electric vehicles (EVs). The carmaker signed a memorandum of understanding with Foxconn’s EV division Foxtron to proceed with further discussions. Foxtron is a joint venture between Foxconn and Yulon Motor Corporation which assembles and makes cars for Nissan.
