A Bradley County teen died days after being involved in a wreck. Brodie King was a star student and a member of the football team at Bradley Central. Teammates showed up to his funeral in jerseys to support their support for King’s family. "There are two things Brodie did love, or I know that he loved. Tennessee football and Bradley football. We just wanted to make sure we showed up, and make sure his parents knew we loved him,” said Bradley Central High School's head football coach.

A Chattanooga man will serve prison time after unlawfully transporting undocumented people back in December. Josef Alquan Rutley plead guilty to the charge in February; he has been ordered to serve 18 months in federal prison with three years of supervision after his release. During Rutley's hearing, the court heard evidence of 22 people being locked in a tractor trailer with no way out.
