I’ve been having this recurring problem with my MacBook Pro for ages now. Every so often the sound in my headphones will inexplicably stop playing from the left speaker. At first I thought it was a problem with my bluetooth headphones. One of the speakers can, after all, just break for no good reason, so I switched to a wired pair, but after a few days the same problem started happening again.
