Malaysia will become a brand new destination for Creventic this December when the Sepang International Circuit hosts the opening race of the 2025/2026 Michelin 24H SERIES Middle East with over 20 entries already accepted for the race. Creventic’s first ever visit to the Far East will take place during the first week of December with two Creventic Track Days preceding testing, practice and qualifying on Friday, 5 December, and the non-stop 12-hour race itself at Sepang on Saturday, 6 December.

The ACO revealed which bidder applications have been successful for the next-gen LMP2 chassis and powertrain today at its annual pre-Le Mans press conference. For the chassis, ORECA and Ligier have been selected, with the ACO opting to create a competitive marketplace rather than reduce the number of suppliers from the current four to one. RACER understands that neither Multimatic nor Dallara submitted bids, a change in the initial intention of the Italian company.

The hugely popular Le Mans Classic will become an annual event from 2026 after holding a biennial event to this point, aside from the years around the Centenary of the 24 Hours. The event is the only race meeting other than the 24 Hours that utilises the whole Circuit de La Sarthe. In addition, a new official support race, “Legends of Le Mans”, will join certain rounds of the FIA WEC.

The #63 Iron Lynx Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo is to be permitted to take up the 62nd and last position on the grid for the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend after a torrid couple of days at the Circuit de Le Sarthe. The car, a third entry for the team earned via their Championship victory in the LMGT3 class of the European Le Mans Series in 2024 is set to be driven by Australian father and son Stephen and Brenton Grove (both Le Mans rookies) and Mercedes AMG factory GT driver Luca Stolz.
Toyota GR LH2 Racing Concept Unveiled

Toyota Gazoo Racing took the wraps off its GR LH2 Racing Concept at the Le Mans 24 Hours Hydrogen Village at the Circuit de la Sarthe this morning. The LH2 is a liquid hydrogen (LH2) fueled test car, which is an evolution of the clay GR H2 concept it showed off at La Sarthe two years ago. The Japanese manufacturer was light on details regarding the wider plans for the car at today’s launch.
