Over a hundred years ago, women across England, Scotland and Wales chained themselves to railings, knowing they would be spat on by passers-by, and waited to be cut free and thrown in a cell. The Suffragettes were up against a real, honest-to-God patriarchy, an entire society that valued them only for their ability to satisfy the requirements of men. For choosing to resist, they were ridiculed and beaten, mocked in the press, abandoned by friends, shunned and silenced.

Every now and then, someone shatters an ideological consensus with a single act of moral courage. The example I always reach for came in the summer of 1954, when attorney Joseph Welch reacted in revulsion to Joe McCarthy essentially doxxing one of his colleagues with the words “Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you left no sense of decency?”. The moment broke not just McCarthy but the spell he had cast over his countrymen.

Hello everyone,It’s not easy to ask for help a second time, but be that as it may, here I beAs many of you know, I have spent the last five years speaking out against gender ideology and its harmful consequences - on women’s rights, on gay rights, and on vulnerable children. I have done this at great personal cost, losing my career and financial stability, yet I have never regretted standing up for what I believe is right.

(I didn’t do a ‘pomposity pass’ over this speech but it turned out ok, I think. Thanks to the BBC insiders who helped me with the nitty gritty.)To begin, I would like you to picture a sunny day in a park in San Francisco. Spring has sprung and a group of children are collecting flowers. Their teacher instructs them to pick a few that they can take home to their parents and they flutter towards the nearby constellations of bright red blossoms. It’s all very wholesome.

I’m grateful to Lesley for granting permission to publish her resignation letter. For over 70 years, John Lewis has had a unique ownership structure in which staff members collectively own the business through a trust. However, it now seems that trans activists within the company are compromising the safety of female staff and customers, and many partners are not happy. My name is Lesley Pickup. I am employed as a Selling Partner on the first floor in your Cheadle Branch.

is a multiple BAFTA winning Irish comedy writer best known for his popular TV sitcoms Father Ted and The IT Crowd. Around six years ago he was cancelled for the mortal sin of criticising trans activism. He was banned on Twitter/X for a while, and lost work contracts, friends, and eventually his marriage. Linehan says things like men can’t get pregnant, or that practicing gender medicine on kids is child abuse. He misgenders trans-identified people and forcefully opposes self-identification laws.
