These are difficult times for Lando Norris as the British F1 superstar struggles with the weight of all those world title expectations. The 25-year-old was expected to lead the papaya charge for glory in 2025 with a rocket ship of a car primed to power him to race victories. So far things have not played out like that though, with his team-mate Oscar Piastri tearing up the script to lead the 2025 Drivers’ Championship standings.

If Lewis Hamilton ever had a honeymoon period at Ferrari, it is most definitely now over. Six races into the 2025 season, the seven-time world champion is still trying to get to grips with his new surroundings, and more importantly his new SF-25 car. The fanfare which accompanied Hamilton's arrival at Maranello has not been matched by results. Just 41 points so far and seventh place in the Drivers' Championship standings - a yawning 90 behind leader Oscar Piastri.

Former F1 star Nikita Mazepin has a new sport - he is now officially a triathlete. The 26-year-old Russian spent a season in F1 with Haas (failing to score a single point), before his dreams of making it big in that sport were ended in 2022. His team parted ways with him soon after Vladimir Putin's invasion of the Ukraine. Since then Mazepin has tried a number of pursuits as well as still keeping his hand in motorsport - he raced the 24 Hours of Dubai in early 2025.

Max Verstappen has revealed his first thought when he held new baby Lily in his arms - it will probably surprise you and it will almost certainly make you laugh. Of course the four-time F1 world champion was overjoyed by the birth of his first child with model and influencer partner Kelly Piquet last week. But despite being a ‘bonus dad’ to Kelly’s first daughter Penelope for several years now (and doing a great job as well), holding his own newborn was still something of a new experience.
