A man who was left homeless while struggling with addiction has said he would "probably be dead" if not for a nurse specialising in homeless healthcare and the Simon Community. Inclusion health nurses are now in every health trust across Northern Ireland. They work in hostels and with community organisations to provide essential healthcare to those who are homeless. This way, these nurses can reach some of the most vulnerable in society.

A west Belfast primary school pupil has said her first time hearing live music from the Ulster Orchestra was "magnificent". Katie, and other pupils at John Paul II Primary School were treated to a workshop from the orchestra on Tuesday. It is as part of an initiative to expose young people to the educational and developmental benefits of orchestral music. Ulster Orchestra players have delivered workshops to 10,000 children.

Mr Conway, who was 26 years old, died after he was shot multiple times at home in the Greenan area of Andersonstown on 9 January. He was linked to an organised crime gang known as The Firm. 27 year old Aidan O'Keefe and 53 year old Fergal Kane, both from Belfast, appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court charged with murder.

A 64-year-old woman who was murdered by her ex-partner in Whitehead was stabbed seven times within the space of a minute, a court has heard. Some details of Alyson Nelson's murder in April 2022 emerged for the first time at Belfast Crown Court on Friday. William Finlay, 68, from Olde Forde Gardens, Whitehead, is charged with murder aggravated by domestic abuse. He had previously denied the murder but changed his plea to guilty in November 2023 and is to be sentenced next week.

A former minister who was extradited from Canada to Northern Ireland has been sentenced to two years in jail, suspended for three years, for a number of historical child abuse offences. James Henry Clarke, 81, with an address at Cloncore Road, Portadown, in County Armagh appeared before Belfast Crown Court on Thursday. He was charged with three counts of indecently assaulting two boys in the 1960s and 1970s. Clarke was extradited in September. An international arrest warrant had been issued for him.
