Offseason chaos got an early start this year. The Memphis Grizzlies fired Taylor Jenkins with just nine games left in the season, and then the Denver Nuggets one-upped them by dismissing head coach Michael Malone and GM Calvin Booth with only three games remaining in the campaign. Phoenix canned Budenholzer, and the New Orleans Pelicans cut ties with top executive David Griffin-all before the Play-In round even started.

Take everything we already said about the Rockets' excellent defense and shoddy offense, multiply it by two, and you've got the Orlando Magic. Framed that way, their need for Booker is even greater. With only nine games left in their season and a playoff berth on the horizon, the Memphis Grizzlies fired head coach Taylor Jenkins. The Denver Nuggets then one-upped Memphis by firing Mike Malone, who won a championship ring in 2023 and had amassed more victories than any coach in franchise history, with only three games left in the season. The writing was more clearly on the wall for Jenkins after the front office revamped his coaching staff prior to the season.

This could have been expanded to the entire back nine of Jack Nicklaus' 1986 fourth round at the Masters, but the signature moment of that incredible run has to be his birdie putt on No. 17. Coming into the tournament, the narrative surrounding Nicklaus was rough. At 46, he was presumed washed. That storyline died a conspicuous death as he shot an absurd 30 on the back nine, with the highlight being an iconic 11-foot putt on No. 17.

Bub Carrington (first), Alex Sarr (seventh) and Kyshawn George (eighth) will all finish in the top 10 in minutes among 2024 rookies, giving the Wizards a ton of total contributions from their first-year players. Not coincidentally, Washington stunk this year. Sarr was among the least efficient two-point shooters among centers in the last few decades, but he'll also finish 2024-25 as the only rookie with at least 100 blocks and 100 made threes.

Just got my VO2 max tested in NYC last week. If you're not familiar, a high V02 max is known to significantly reduce all cause mortality & increase life/healthspan. I saw the marked benefits of being a consistent runner. And the recommendation = This below 👇😮‍💨 It's gonna hurt! https://t.co/hQBv1WXGHj

Cardiorespiratory fitness (measured by VO2 max) is one of the best indicators of improved healthspan and lifespan. One of the best protocols for improving VO2 max is the Norwegian 4x4 protocol - a 4-minute interval at the maximum intensity you can maintain the entire interval
