The horses running in the Kentucky Derby possess an almost alien beauty. Graceful, powerfully athletic, downright noble-they're bred to be perfect specimens. And yet sometimes, they're named things like Dr. Barkley. Or Wool Sandals. Or Burgoo King. That's because the Kentucky Derby is inherently silly, if you think about it. The hats and mint juleps and pageantry are all over the top.

This one is bold enough to border on ridiculous, as the Indiana Pacers did a surprisingly good job of keeping Giannis off the foul line this year. In four meetings, Antetokounmpo totaled just 33 attempts, good for an average of 8.3 per game that fell below his league-leading average of 10.6.With Damian Lillard's status uncertain, Antetokounmpo will occupy the primary scoring and shot-creation role for Milwaukee.

Offseason chaos got an early start this year. The Memphis Grizzlies fired Taylor Jenkins with just nine games left in the season, and then the Denver Nuggets one-upped them by dismissing head coach Michael Malone and GM Calvin Booth with only three games remaining in the campaign. Phoenix canned Budenholzer, and the New Orleans Pelicans cut ties with top executive David Griffin-all before the Play-In round even started.

Take everything we already said about the Rockets' excellent defense and shoddy offense, multiply it by two, and you've got the Orlando Magic. Framed that way, their need for Booker is even greater. Last offseason's signing of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope fell flat partly because the veteran guard's three-point shooting cratered to 34.2 percent, his lowest mark since the 2015-16 campaign.

With only nine games left in their season and a playoff berth on the horizon, the Memphis Grizzlies fired head coach Taylor Jenkins. The Denver Nuggets then one-upped Memphis by firing Mike Malone, who won a championship ring in 2023 and had amassed more victories than any coach in franchise history, with only three games left in the season. The writing was more clearly on the wall for Jenkins after the front office revamped his coaching staff prior to the season.

Just got my VO2 max tested in NYC last week. If you're not familiar, a high V02 max is known to significantly reduce all cause mortality & increase life/healthspan. I saw the marked benefits of being a consistent runner. And the recommendation = This below 👇😮💨 It's gonna hurt! https://t.co/hQBv1WXGHj

Cardiorespiratory fitness (measured by VO2 max) is one of the best indicators of improved healthspan and lifespan. One of the best protocols for improving VO2 max is the Norwegian 4x4 protocol - a 4-minute interval at the maximum intensity you can maintain the entire interval
