Darius Adams has heard from nearly 15 college basketball programs since decommitting from UConn on Saturday, according to national recruiting analyst Travis Branham. The La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere School product and 2025 McDonald's All-American is the No. 26 overall prospect and No. 4 combo guard in the class of 2025 and the highest-ranked uncommitted player. Several of the nation's top programs — Tennessee, UNC, Maryland, Indiana and Alabama — are showing interest.

Several teams have fallen short in the transfer portal this offseason. The college basketball transfer portal closed Tuesday morning, with 87 of the top 100 prospects committed to new schools. Time is quickly running out for needy teams to add impact talent, and Duke, Kansas and NC State are among eight teams behind the eight ball at Tuesday's closure.

Stojakovic — son of three-time NBA All-Star Peja Stojakovic — averaged 17.9 points and 4.7 rebounds as a sophomore last season and is rated as the No. 34 overall player and No. 7 small forward to enter the portal this offseason.
