(WSPA) – A system arriving in the area Friday will bring a chance for rain, snow, and ice to the Upstate and western North Carolina. While temperatures will be cold enough for freezing conditions and plenty of moisture will be available for precipitation, it is not certain what type of precipitation we will see in the Upstate. The low pressure system which will bring the moisture will be developing along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and head in our direction.
