The best part about the dead legacy media becoming completely irrelevant in recent years, but particularly since Donald Trump won re-election last November, is that they absolutely do not understand the reason why. Of course, it's possible that some of them DO know the reason and simply refuse to say it out loud, but that might be even funnier. They died because they refused to be honest with people, and yet they still refuse to be honest. It's almost poetic in its deliciousness.

In case it's not already blatantly obvious, we have a serious mental health crisis in society these days. In addition to all of the men pretending to be women so that they can invade women's sports, bathrooms, and locker rooms, some people are pretending that they are animals. And they expect other people to take them seriously.

The left in America is surely picking some strange hills to die on. When they are not protesting and conducting lawfare to keep illegal immigrant criminals from being deported, they are still defending terrorism, both abroad and here in the United States. But of all of these hills, perhaps none is more baffling than the left's insistence that men belong in women's sports and private spaces.

It must be kind of great to be a Democrat politician. You can just say things with no evidence, such as that men can have babies or the Earth is going to end in 10 years if we don't raise taxes, and your voting base will simply believe you. The problem with the incessant lying, of course, is that the voting base keeps shrinking as normal Americans are beginning to see straight through the gaslighting.

We know Twitchy isn't exactly a sports-focused site, except for those occasions when sports and politics intersect (which, frankly, happens all too often these days). But it's not often we get to report about sports history being made. Today in New York, Washington Capitals forward and captain Alexander Ovechkin broke what for many years people thought was an unbreakable record: he surpassed The Great One, Wayne Gretzky, for the most goals scored in NHL regular season history.
