With the new Can-Am Canyon, BRP says it wants to “democratize all roads.” In other words, it wants adventure to be accessible to more people, not just those who have the skills to handle a 600-lb adventure bike. As a three-wheeler, the Can-Am Canyon won’t tip over, so riders need not fear the limited traction of unpaved roads. Even though I’ve ridden thousands of miles on dirt, sand, and gravel on ADVs, I still get the willies on loose surfaces.

Indian Motorcycle has launched the fourth season of its FORGED custom build series. Focusing on the new-for-2025 Indian Chieftain PowerPlus, three builders were invited to fabricate one-of-a-kind custom bikes that deliver a unique combination of performance and style. Kicking off the FORGED custom build series is Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, followed by Kyle Bertsch from ForeverRad and Satya Kraus of Kraus Moto. The first video focuses on the design and development of Twitch’s build.

Months before the Great North American Eclipse of 2024, which would follow a 124-mile-wide “path of totality” from Texas to Maine on April 8, my friend Eric Birns found the perfect place to experience several minutes of darkness within the path: Ingram, Texas, the closest location to our home in Ventura, California. Not only would Ingram be in the path of totality, it’s also located in the heart of Texas Hill Country.

The first review of a Cortech product published in Rider was in the April 1998 issue. The late, great Larry Grodsky reviewed the Tourmaster Cortech Jacket, a three-quarter length textile touring jacket. Tourmaster is a house brand of motorcycle apparel and luggage sold exclusively by Helmet House, a major distributor that’s been around since 1969.
