    The hit Off Broadway production of Gregg Ostrin's comedy is aiming for a Broadway transfer this fall, producers have announced. They're on the lookout for a venue. Directed by Colin Hanlon, Kowalski is set in a Provincetown beach house and imagines the real-life 1947 meeting of A Streetcar Named Desire author Tennessee Williams and his future Stanley Kowalski Marlon Brando.

    Broadway's inaugural group marquee dimming to honor multiple artists and industry members who have passed away will pay tribute to such luminaries as Gene Hackman, Linda Lavin, Helen Gallagher, Quincy Jones, Ken Page and Joan Plowright, among others. The dimming of all 41 Broadway marquees will occur simultaneously on Tuesday, June 10 at 6:45 p.m. ET, two days after this year's Tony Awards.

    Director Jamie Lloyd is, to say the least, very busy these days. In four days his radical, magnificent Broadway reworking of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Blvd. will be competing for seven Tony Awards, including one for his direction, one each for his two stars Nicole Scherzinger and Tom Francis, and one for Best Musical Revival. Then there's , another Lloyd Webber classic getting the Jamie Lloyd treatment for a June 14 preview date at the London Palladium, with opening night on July 1.

    Tom Felton, who played young Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie franchise, is reprising the role as an adult in Broadway's Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The play is set 19 years after the action of the book and movie series, with the children of the adult Draco, Harry, Ron and Hermione now attending Hogwarts. Felton announced his joining the Broadway play on the Today show this morning.

    Morten Harket, the singer of the Norwegian synth-pop band a-ha who helped define the 1980s MTV sound with its gorgeously sung global hit " Take On Me," revealed Wednesday that he has Parkinson's disease. "I don't feel like singing, and for me that's a sign," Harket said in an interview on the band's official website. "I'm broadminded in terms of what I think works; I don't expect to be able to achieve full technical control. The question is whether I can express myself with my voice.
