Many of the movies of 2025 haven’t been particularly exciting to me. Most of them are sequels or reboots. On the other hand, when I looked into what will be available on streaming services over the next twelve months, I found that I had much more to talk about. When I initially looked at movies that were coming out this year, I was fairly disappointed. As has become increasingly common, so many 2025 movies were sequels and remakes. I’ve really enjoyed a lot of Marvel’s Disney Plus shows. WandaVision was spectacular, Ms. Marvel was oodles of fun, and What If? was a favorite of mine, although I accept that it’s an unpopular opinion. But my favorite of the Disney Plus MCU shows to date has been Hawkeye. I’ve just re-watched Hawkeye for a fourth time, and it absolutely holds up.
