American black metal act Abigail Williams – currently mastermind and frontman Ken Sorceron alongside Vance Valenzuela (Vale Of Pnath) on guitars, John Porada (ex-Nachtmystium, ex-Wolvhammer) on bass, and Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Malignancy) on drums – is back with their second single from A Void Within Existence called "Still Nights". It's fucking furious. "This record was born in the quiet hours, when everything felt hollow," Sorceron reflects.

Dragonforce originally released the alternate version of their track "Burning Heart" featuring Arch Enemy's Alissa White-Gluz as a bonus track on select editions of their celebrated 2024 album Warp Speed Warriors. Vein FM's Errorzone is still unbelievable. What a modern classic.

There's nothing really memorable about The Shit ov God, and I don't feel any great urge to listen to it over a lot of any of the great Behemoth records that they've put out in the past. https://t.co/8mYKjGgMQF

Getting the Propagandhi record review done this week. I think my problem with this record is "Vampires Are Real" and "Fire Season" should've been left off this record. The flow would've been way better. Either way, this grew on me.

Behemoth review wrapped up (it's boring), working on Full Of Hell (like it) and Propagandhi (interest in this one slowly waning) next. But for now, taking a break and listening to one of the all-time great riff records – Kylesa's Static Tensions.
