    Back in February, we reported that Ferrari’s first all-electric car (a high-performance EV crossover) would probably be revealed on October 9, 2025 at the Italian firm’s Capital Markets Day. We are now slightly disappointed to admit that we were wrong. Or were we? We’re not actually sure whether the unveiling has been delayed or if this was always the plan, but boss Benedetto Vigna has now said that Ferrari will only show the “technological heart” of its EV later this year.

Perhaps his best on four wheels was on New Year’s Eve in 2009, when Pastrana flung his Subaru Impreza STI rally car off the pier in Long Beach while doing 146kph. After flying for 82 meters, he landed on a floating barge and set a new world record.

    Back at the end of 2024, Ford announced its upcoming Mustang GTD had lapped the Nürburgring in under seven minutes. In fact, the 804hp supercharged former muscle car (it’s now a supercar, according to Ford) had set a time of 6min and 57.6sec, but Ford reckoned it could still do better. And now… it has done better. Multimatic Motorsports driver Dirk Müller took the definitely-not-a-diesel-Golf round the ‘Ring in 6min and 52.072sec, shaving 5.5sec off his previous best.
