Around 1.3 million examples of the compact rear-wheel-drive Lexus IS sedan have been sold since the first generation arrived in 1999, and to celebrate, the carmaker is launching a shameless special edition of the IS500 F Sport in North America called the Ultimate Edition. Oh boy, this makes us miss the old IS F.
You may remember that the IS500 F Sport uses a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 to make 466hp and 536Nm of torque.

The Land Rover Discovery 5 was first unveiled just moments after the extinction of the dinosaurs, and yet it remains on sale today. In fact, Land Rover has just updated it once again and launched a couple of special editions, because not everybody wants a Defender.
The Discovery Tempest is a new top-of-the-range model with a matte protective film over the paint and contrasting ‘Petra Copper Gloss’ roof and accents.

Looks like a law enforcement vehicle has managed to escape from Grand Theft Auto VI—Rezvani Motors has unveiled its latest military-style modified SUV as it attempts to “break away from the mundane.” Yep, it’s certainly doing that.
This is the Rezvani Knight, and as you might have spotted from the shape, it’s based on a Lamborghini Urus. Only this is what the Urus would look like if it were designed for some futuristic, apocalyptic dystopia.

We don’t yet know what car Robert Prevost, now known as Pope Leo XIV, will commission to be his official Popemobile. Perhaps he’ll keep the modified electric Mercedes-Benz G580 that was built for Pope Francis last year?
Or perhaps he’ll want something a little more...bling. Okay, it’s probably unlikely to be a car for cardinals, but you can’t blame us. Mansory has timed the unveiling of its new open-topped ‘Speranza’ perfectly. Heck, it’s even painted white.

Turns out Max Verstappen really likes racing. Yep, who would’ve thought it? Of course, we already knew about the Dutchman’s obsession with sim racing in his downtime from Formula 1, but now it seems he’s getting into real-life GT3 racing, too. Although he does also have a newborn baby, so perhaps he just needed to get out of the house for a few hours.

Back in February, we reported that Ferrari’s first all-electric car (a high-performance EV crossover) would probably be revealed on October 9, 2025 at the Italian firm’s Capital Markets Day. We are now slightly disappointed to admit that we were wrong.
Or were we? We’re not actually sure whether the unveiling has been delayed or if this was always the plan, but boss Benedetto Vigna has now said that Ferrari will only show the “technological heart” of its EV later this year.
