The 59 year old Dane, Brian Dilling Pedersen, who was feared a victim of a crime after he lost contact with his family and his Facebook page was deleted, was found on Thursday 5 June 2025 in Pak Phanang district of Nakhon Si Thammarat happy as can be, living with his new girfriend. Before recording the Dane as missing, the local police quickly made the necessarry initial search and found him at the home of his new girlfriend, whose name was known.

A Danish man, 59-year-old Brian Dilling Pedersen, has gone missing in southern Thailand under increasingly worrying circumstances. His son, Steven Risager Madsen, fears that his father may have become the target of criminal extortion while staying in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. Brian Dilling Pedersen travelled to Thailand around 20 December 2024 and spent most of his time in Kusuman district, Sakon Nakhon province.
