Judas Priest are set to raise their Invincible Shield sky high again, and Alice Cooper’s going to help them. The classic NWOBHM group have revealed that their next leg of dates behind their 2024 album will be a fall North American co-headliner with the shock rock legend. Cooper and Priest officially announced the trek today (April 15th), with it being confirmed that a 22-date tour begins September 16th at Biloxi, Mississippi’s Mississippi Coast Coliseum.

Les Binks, Judas Priest’s drummer through their classic late Seventies period, has died at the age of 73. A cause of death has not been revealed, but his passing was confirmed by his former bandmates. “We are deeply saddened about the passing of Les and send our love to his family, friends and fans,” Priest wrote in a group statement, adding of their former skinsman, “The acclaimed drumming he provided was first class – demonstrating his unique techniques, flair, style and precision.
