(KTVZ) - A 71-year-old Bend man died Saturday after being struck by a pickup truck in a parking lot on Northeast 3rd Street, according to Bend Police. Officers responded to a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision at 660 NE 3rd Street around 2 p.m. Upon arrival, they found the 71-year-old man lying on the ground after being hit by a white Toyota Tacoma.

(KTVZ) - Bend police are investigating after officers found an unconscious 42-year-old Bend man floating facedown in the Deschutes River near Pioneer Park on Sunday afternoon. Police responded to the area just north of the Portland Avenue bridge around 2 p.m. after receiving a report of the incident.

(KTVZ) - A Bend man remained in critical condition Monday at St. Charles Bend, a day after being rescued from the Deschutes River. The 42-year-old man was found unconscious when he was pulled from the water on Sunday afternoon and is currently being treated in the ICU.
