A 63-year-old Chinese Han female presented to our hospital on January 11, 2024, with complaints of progressive dyspnea on exertion for over 20 days, which had acutely worsened in the past day. She reported experiencing unexplained exertional dyspnea, alleviated by rest, since December 20, 2023. This was associated with palpitations, cough, chest tightness, and production of white sputum, without accompanying symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, chest pain, or hemoptysis.

Patients with chronic diseases and older people have a considerable demand for drugs. However, few studies have focused on the SUDs in the general population and its influencing factors. In the present study, a total score of 80% was taken as the criterion to measure the quality of all dimensions. The attitude of CRs toward SUDs was the highest (94.26%). The behavior toward SUDs of CRs was the lowest (85.79%). The knowledge of SUDs was moderate (89.81%).

The overall prevalence of hypopituitarism was 29 per 100,000 cases based on a previous survey [25]. The mechanism of hypopituitarism included dysfunction of the pituitary gland or hypothalamic damage. Various diseases may cause hypopituitarism. The most common causes of primary hypopituitarism are PAs and complications of surgery or radiation therapy for PAs [15]. AbstractThe aim of this study was to investigate the incidence and risk factors of new-onset hypopituitarism after gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) for pituitary adenomas in a single center. In this retrospective study, 241 pituitary adenoma patients who underwent GKRS from 1993 to 2016 were enrolled. These patients had complete endocrine, imaging, and clinical data before and after GKRS. The median follow-up time was 56.0 (range, 12.7–297.6) months.

A prospective cohort study was conducted in six cities in Guangdong Province, which were selected on the basis of the geographical location and economic status: Shantou City in eastern Guangdong Province, Yangjiang City in western Guangdong Province, Yunfu City in northern Guangdong Province, Zhuhai City, Jiangmen City, and Huizhou City in the Pearl River Delta (the most developed area in Guangdong Province).
