    Campbell’s Bay is set to enhance its community park with a new ballpark fence, funded by a $72,378 grant from the province’s education ministry.     The Otter Lake Recreation Association (RA) hosted its annual 3-pitch baseball tournament over the weekend, with eight teams from across the Pontiac and as far as Aylmer competing for the first place prize. This year’s final was between the Buccaneers and the Bombers, both teams from Bryson, who played a close game, finishing with a final score of 14-10 for the Bombers.

    Members of the Portage du Fort community were treated to a concert at the Lakeside Bar and Hotel on Saturday evening from the local duo Small Town Rootz. The event was organized by Angie Beausoleil, the bar’s manager, who said she thought about having the band over for a show after seeing their card on the counter. She said the performance was the first live music event at the venue since before the COVID-19 pandemic.
