The rock band KoRn is working on a new album. According to lead guitarist Brian “Head” Welch, it will be a return to their heavy-guitar roots. Welch co-founded the band in 1993. In an interview with the student-managed New Jersey radio station WSOU 89.5 FM, he spoke about the band’s progress. The album will follow 2022’s requiem and, in the words of Welch, be some of the best music they have made in years.

This week, the University of Colorado Buffaloes faced the Colorado State University Rams for the Rocky Mountain Showdown at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colorado. CSU head coach Jay Horvell has not won a rivalry game on the Colorado Front Range. Travis Hunter is the college football player with the most starts this season, dominating both playbooks. Their first matchup was in 1893, in which Colorado won 70–6. This week, Colorado won sloppy but conveniently.

After an L against their fellow Big-12 rival Nebraska last week, Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes experienced severe criticism from college football fans on social media.

The Colorado Buffaloes football script flipped after their devastating performance and loss against Nebraska this week. Many fans called out Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders and his son Shedeur for behavior that revealed their true colors. One of these notorious reports includes Deion Sanders commanding the University of Colorado marching band not to play the fight song when Shedeur scores but to play “Perfect Timing,” his very own rap song.

In 1994, Queens, New York, hip hop duo Mobb Deep was frustrated and ambitious. In April 1993, the two teenagers that the group consisted of, Prodigy and Havoc, released their first album, Juvenile Hell, with high expectations, but their friends did not like listening. They started making a name for themselves in the rap scene, working with Def Jam and fellow rapper Q-tip from A Tribe Called Quest. The album barely made 20,000 sales and earned a 3.5/5 mic rating in The Source.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott entered the game by signing the highest-paid contract in NFL history ($240 million). Running back Ezekiel Elliot returns to the Cowboys. The Browns’ 2023 playoff defense could not stop the Cowboys’ offense. The Cowboys return to Arlington, Texas with a victory, 33–17.

This game was Colorado head coach Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders’ first meeting as a head coach in Cornhusker’s Lincoln, Nebraska territory. The Cornhuskers took home the game 2–0. The Buffs return to Boulder, Colorado, disappointed in a team with high expectations to revitalize their performance from last year, returning to the Big 12 this year.
