    I don’t think there are any rules when it comes to how one should use literary references in works of literature, except, perhaps, that they should have a life of their own. The facts are I’ve written a short story collection and named it Evil Flowers, obviously a reference to Charles Baudelaire’s The Flowers of Evil.
