A family of seven allegedly died by suicide. Panchkula: Praveen Mittal, who died in an alleged suicide pact, along with six of his family members, was reportedly under a huge debt, amounting to around Rs 20 crore. Mr Mittal and family - elderly parents, wife and three young children - died in a mass suicide on Monday night. The family left behind a note, requesting that the last rites be performed by Mr Mittal's cousin Sandeep Agarwal, who he spoke to five days ago.

New Delhi: Mafia boss Lawrence Bishnoi's interview in September 2022 - to a private channel while, supposedly, incarcerated in jail - was red-flagged, again, by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday. The court today reprimanded the Punjab government for failing to follow its August 2024 order, which directed disciplinary action against senior officers who facilitated Bishnoi's interview.
