    The Jacksonville Jaguars are bringing home a familiar face. The team signed its former third-round pick, Dawaune Smoot, on Tuesday. Jacksonville selected Smoot with the 68th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of Illinois. He totalled 23.5 sacks and 133 tackles (27 for a loss) in seven seasons with the Jaguars before playing for the Buffalo Bills in 2024. His 23.5 sacks rank 10th in franchise history.
