FARNBOROUGH—Pratt & Whitney has secured an order from Avolon for the PW1100G geared turbofan (GTF) to power 80 Airbus A320neos. Announced here at the Farnborough Airshow, the order is one of the largest placed by a lessor for the GTF to date, Pratt said.
