With the rapid development of artificial intelligence in recent years, mankind is facing an unprecedented demand for data processing. Today, almost all data processing is performed using electrons in conventional CMOS circuits. Over the past few decades, scientists have been searching for faster and more efficient ways to process data. Now, magnons, the quanta of spin waves, show the potential for higher efficiency and lower energy consumption in solving some specific problems.

1 IntroductionCurrent society demands more and more applications that require applying computationally hard and data-intensive algorithms, for example, neural networks. These are generally run on devices such as CPUs or GPUs, which offer great computing power but also require high energy consumption for their operation, which limits their use in edge computing. An alternative to the use of CPUs or GPUs is their implementation in hardware.
