If you’re anything like me, following the news makes it feel like the world is on the verge of collapse. There are wars on multiple continents, millions are dying because of famine, extremism is on the rise, natural disasters caused by climate change have become the new norm, and the economy seems headed for a recession.

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of brazenly gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson turned celebrated vigilante, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday. Glaringly bright, blue-hued headlights filled my hatchback earlier this year as I drove 80 miles an hour on the highway between San Antonio and Austin. love @PabloTorre & @pablofindsout... this might be the most intriguing line in any podcast you'll hear this week: this will be a story about leadership, and genius, and privacy, and discipline, and ALSO, crucially, the illegal sale of injectable erectile dysfunction drugs...

Absolutely brilliant podcast episode on Belichick, his weird girlfriend, and the UNC mess. Wildly entertaining … and sort of deeply jealousy-inducing. Bravo @PabloTorre. https://t.co/VvVfD8Y6T5
