I am writing a book about my coaching practice. To lighten things up and convey the ideas visually, I decided to see if I could use artificial intelligence to generate the illustrations. But where to begin? I started playing with Apple Intelligence on my iPhone 15 Pro. Later, I tried apps that don’t require Apple Intelligence. I began by downloading the Apple Intelligence-based Image Playground app (free), which you can also use in Messages.

My wife kept telling me to turn the TV down. My friends were tiring of having to repeat themselves. I strained to hear during meetings. So, five years ago, I succumbed and went to a hearing specialist. A 15-minute test revealed I had mild to moderate hearing loss. Thousands of dollars bought me state-of-the-art hearing aids that connected to my iPhone via Bluetooth and an app. The hearing aids proved inefficient and clumsy enough that I only wore them when I really needed them.

Last year, a close family member, I’ll call her R, was diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s. Apple products have made life a little easier and safer for both of us. Never technically adept, R uses an older model iPhone to make and receive calls and enjoy the Lock Screen photos I create. Placing AirTags with R’s keys, wallet, and car allows us to find misplaced items, and for me to locate R on a map (she still drives in our small town). I also use the People option in the Find My app.

Without fanfare, I began offering my unique massage service. People valued it and paid me a fair price. With clients, I am present, receptive to what’s going on. I tap into an energy that allows me to innovate on the spot. #TerrySmith https://t.co/gBJSs4SVjO

During @TMmeditation I envisioned a homeopathic store. For a month during TM, new facets unfolded — sign, couch, research, remedies. I told the universe, if you want me to do this, show me how. Then I dropped it. 6 months later I began. @ThymelySol https://t.co/Z74xBoZdGR
