Over the weekend, Sex Education and The White Lotus star Aimee Lou Wood criticised US comedy show Saturday Night Live for a sketch that mocked her teeth – which she called “mean and unfunny”. The sketch, titled The White Potus, reimagined season three of Mike White’s The White Lotus with characters from the Trump administration. Yesterday (March 4), dozens of Democratic congresswomen wore bright pink to President Donald Trump’s first address to a joint session of Congress to protest of the 47th President. New Mexico Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández, chair of the Democratic Women’s Caucus, told TIME that the colour choice was meant to “signal our protest of Trump’s policies, which are negatively impacting women and families”. She added, “Pink is a colour of power and protest.
