A poet and world-class actor who could do comedy as perfectly as drama. “Top Gun,” “Top Secret,” “Tombstone,” “Real Genius,” “Heat,” “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” “Batman Forever” and “The Doors” are formidable films.
