An Edinburgh man claims he was just millimetres from being crushed by a huge tree which uprooted on a major road. Barry Will was travelling home after collecting a work phone at around 10am on Friday, January 24, ahead of a rare red weather warning bringing wind gusts of up to 80mph. As Barry stood at the crossing on Regent Road, Abbeyhill, a huge tree toppled over and nearly landed on top of him. He was forced to react quickly and move backwards to avoid being crushed.

As the Eras tour ends in Vancouver, I can't help but sit and think about how much of a truly transformative experience going to the shows was.
