The press release notes that the decision to endorse Ramaswamy “reflects the groundswell of grassroots enthusiasm propelling Vivek’s candidacy.”In a statement, Ramaswamy said he is “honored” to receive the formal endorsement from his state’s party.

The House passed Greene’s measure in a 211-206 vote on Thursday, as she directed her staff to begin the legislative process of changing the name after Trump made the big announcement on the name change, going from the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) was the only Republican to side with Democrats. On Thursday, Greene addressed Democrats collectively melting down over the name change.
