According to Superintendent Jeff McKinney, no action was taken during the meeting. The board received an update on the construction project from Nabholz and the architect, Clayton Vaden, specifically regarding the softball dugout. The district is adding additional waterproofing to the home dugout on the softball field.

    Judge Donna Galloway has ordered a pre-trial for Joe Graylan Minter, Jr., for July 14, 2025, at 1 p.m. Minter’s trial is scheduled to take place Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 at 8:30 a.m. in the Circuit Court of Arkansas County. Minter is facing capital murder charges for the death of Dalton Smith in Oct. 2022. No plea has been entered. The 27-year-old’s body was found in an alleyway behind 1108 S. Grand St. in Stuttgart, according to a statement issued by state police.
