The MD Senate just passed The Child Victims Act of 2023. If it passes the House and is signed by the governor, it will provide a lookback window for survivors of child sexual abuse to sue their abusers in civil court. This is monumental -- the bill has stalled in JPR for years.

The Maryland Senate just passed the constitutional amendment to enshrine abortion protections in the state constitution. The House chamber passed the bill last week, meaning the question is extremely likely to be on the ballot during the 2024 election.
