I wish the media would stop vilifying rats and spreading rumours about them. Earlier this year the papers were warning of rats 'the size of cats', now it's rats 'the size of rabbits'. Rats are part of the ecosystem & they have every right to live here whether we like it or not

Giraffes (and all wild animals) have complex needs that can't be met in captivity. As a result, giraffes in zoos can suffer from loneliness, stress, boredom & health problems. It's time for zoos to end the keeping of giraffes in captivity #WorldGiraffeDay

Health authorities need to stop seeing animal lives as disposable. Also, if there's a risk of this virus jumping to rodents, isn't it time for a ban on the pet industry's mass breeding of these animals in overcrowded, unsanitary conditions?
